We had a lovely stay here. Our room was large, very comfortable and very clean. Paula is a kind, generous and engaging host and really looked after us. Her breakfasts were excellent and enormous, so we even had some leftovers for our lunch!! Thank you.

Una piacevole sorpresa, Alessandro e sua mamma sono molto gentili e ti fanno sentire a casa, struttura da sogno, per colazione ottime torte, pane e marmellate fatte in casa, è stato tutto veramente perfetto, grazie!

We chose Alla Porto di Soto because of the rave reviews & the location. Fivizzano is a historic comune north of Lucca at the far north border of Toscana. It’s surrounded by natural beauty. A friend bought an apt there & we were visiting her. Alla Porta di Sotto is a charming attached villa in a small square that greets you as you enter through the towns arches. Alessandro greeted us with warm hospitality & showed us to our room on the top floor which had a private large terrace for our use only just across the hall. Breakfast was remarkable. Everything you could wish for..and more! Alessandro’s mother makes all the sweets which accompanied the plentiful savories. So good!!! Fivizzano is worth a visit. And Alla Porto di Sotto made a lovely base from which to explore it. Grazie mille!!
