La Casa del Limoneto

Beautiful stay on the amazing island of Favignana. La Casa is located about 800 m from the ferry terminal. But it is a world away from the bustling centre of town. So quiet, so peaceful. At the end of a one-way street, there is no scooter noise which is so common in Italy ;-) Each room, individually decorated, has its own private terraza facing the beautiful hundred-year-old orchards that Gaetana and Giuseppe have… And from which your morning marmalades will have been made. And it must be mentioned that G and G are very very lovely warm welcoming people An easy walk five or seven minutes to all the restaurants and bars and shops of Favignana. Bicycles and E bikes for rent. Highly recommended to tour the beautiful island. The breakfast was quite bountiful. As mentioned, homemade marmalade. Homemade pastries galore. Cookies. Meats cheeses yoghurts. Juices from the garden. Wonderful.

The most perfect stay for our time on Favignana, we looked at so many other properties but just kept coming back to this one and I’m so glad we did. It was so homely, the outside area was gorgeous, the breakfast was incredible (all homemade!) and our hosts were so warm and lovely. We loved the amazing smell in the garden of the flowers, and their lovely cats. We will 100% be back.

Nothing, it was a perfect, quaint b&b that had an authenticity that I feel is missing in a lot of other places. The walls were a bit thin so you can hear people talking but nothing that some ear plugs didn’t solve, so not a problem for us.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful, friendly and informative. The bed was super comfortable, the location was just a few blocks off of one of the main squares (an 11 minute walk from the port). Breakfast was fantastic and varied and the coffee was great. We are so very grateful for our stay!
