Dimora Castelli

The whole apartment was steeped in History. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was the best we have had in Italy. Breakfast was more than ample, and the pecan/maple pastry was to die for. The shower was amazing.

I love light, and the apartment and room were quiet dark (which is brilliant for night, but not for the day I believe.

Well situated in central Chieti. On being met on arrival, I found I have been upgraded to an amazing suite, with a bathroom to die for-huge walk in shower and a roll top bath. I was the only guest (I think) so felt like I had an entire apartment to myself. Loved the opulent and stylish decor, epecially the Christmas Nutcrackers still standing to attention in the common area, and the fabric covered walls. Breakfast was served in a lovely little cafe across the square.

There was no light in the stairwell but, luckily, I always carry a torch!

Huge opulent bathroom with a bath tub. Good proximity to the old town. Wonderful, generous hosts.

Access to the property is a bit tricky for those people not used to Italian towns.

Breakfast was excellent everyday was a special surprise of the local baked goods with espresso like no other.

We loved everything about Dimora Castelli. It’s a palace in the center of Chieti with the hosts that is willing to accommodate in every way possible.

truly unique rooms and passionate hosts

A superb appartment which has been renovated to accommodate 4 bedrooms and their bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless. You have the feeling to be welcomed in the private appartment of a rich Italian family. You get your breakfast in the eating room which still has the original furniture (I understood it used to be the appartment of some Italian Duke). Just visiting the place was already an experience. Please note that if you have issue with using stairs, then this place might be difficult for you as the appartment is located on the second floor (no lift).

Loved the room and the common areas.

the BB has been beautifully and meticulously restored. but has modern conveniences also. Location was a plus. Room was spacious, light and quiet.

adequate breakfast of bakery goods. would have liked some protein other than yoghurt. Parking is in a remote location some distance away from hotel confirmation from Booking said cc accepted. we were required to pay cash for the room
