"Excellent stay, Host was fantastic."

As a tradie, missed a full cooked breakfast but knew that before staying. Continental breakfast provided though, was excellent.

"Was comfortable and homy"

The owner Tony was fabulous and exceptionally incredible in hosting us. He is amazingly great!

The property was undergoing renovation but all good in general as the interior is usable and clean. Just need to have a visible signage by the road so its easier to see.

"History and hospitality at its best, and comfy bed."

Loved this place. Loved the history of the building. Tony was a great entertaining, accommodating, and hospital host who made me a fantastic breakfast and gave me great advice about visiting Gisborne. I also enjoyed meeting the other guests and the bed was super comfortable.

Was a little out of the center of town, but that suited me as I enjoyed the walk in and Tony advised me on the most picturesque route to get there.
