Hill of Content B&B

We were welcomed at the door when we arrived. Tom and Nance made us feel as if we are old friends and the breakfast every morning was out of this world! They even shared some recipes.

Although we did not spend much time in the room, I would suggest an extra light. On a cloudy day, not much light comes through the window and finding things can prove difficult when packing up.

Rural location. Very quiet and serene.

The B & B has lots of steps so if you don’t do steps you probably won’t like it

It was a very comfortable and welcoming stay. The hosts did above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was also amazing!!

What not to like, the hosts Nance and Thom are so welcoming into their lovely home. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. There are lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity and for breakfast you can stay in as they prepare a fabulous breakfast with fruit (if in season) from their own back yard (which is huge btw). If you are going to Shenandoah and this place is avaible look no further! A place with a heart Ps.if you have the chance to be there at 5:30 you can enjoy a nice drink at their bar!

Absolutely nothing!

What a great getaway weekend we had with Nance and Tom. We loved being close to Shenandoah National Park hikes and enjoyed their extraordinary hospitality. We created great memories during fabulous brunches and happy hour in their pub. We hope to visit again.

Nance and Tom were very welcoming and the house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Everything was perfect and will definitely would love to come stay again with them.
