Wild Hut Habarana

Una muy buena experiencia. Habitaciones grandes a pie de un inmenso jardin. Desayuno incluido delicioso. Nos atendieron fenomenal y nos ayudaron en todo. Muy recomendable, a solo 5min de la estación de tren.

Super jardin, super prix, super petit déjeuner, super accueil. Vous pouvez compter sur le patron pour vos déplacements avec son tuktuk et ses conseils.

la nature tout autour, la proximité avec la station de train de habarana , l’extrême gentillesse de la famille avec qui se fut un vrai plaisir d’apprendre à cuisiner le chicken rice and curry, pouvoir observer un éléphant , chambre propre et fonctionnelle

It's 3 units with verandas looking right into the national park. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Good quiet AC. Breakfast is good. It's less than 100 meters to the train station and another 30 to the ticket office for the National Park/elephant safari (I saw about 90 elephants on my afternoon safari). Apparently some elephants showed up at the hotel on my second day, butt I wasn't there. I did see 4 more on the road nearby, though. I spent hours on the veranda. It's just beautiful. The owner is fantastic. Reserved me a scooter, took me to get it and then again to return it. Then took me to train station, found out it was 3 hours late, took me back to the hotel, then took me back to the train station. No charge. He also gave me advice, including watching the sunset at the nearby lake. There is a beautiful restaurant there right on the lake with impressive food and great atmosphere, Lake House. I could easily spend more time there

хозяин нас бесплатно встретил с поезда из коломбо в 3:30 утра, и проводил на тук туке до автобусной станции в Хабаране, откуда мы поехали в Канди. за 7000 местных денег он отвёз нас на гору и в пещеры дамбуллы .

отсутствие горячей воды. в комнате темно, одна маленькая лампочка на всю комнату.

Haben den Stop genutzt auf der Rückreise von Trincomalee nach Kandy. Zudem wollten wir den EcoPark in Habarana besuchen. Die Unterkunft ist direkt neben dem Park, top Lage. Unterkunft ist ganz toll gestaltet, schöner Garten, sehr idyllisch, ruhig, sauber und ganz freundliche Gastgeber. Sie haben uns einen Fahrer organisiert, der uns durch den Park fährt. Das war super! Tolles Erlebnis! Wir würden wiederkommen!

Ce logement niché en pleine nature nous a permis de voir un éléphant à la nuit tombée. L'hôte a été très disponible et a su répondre à toutes nos attentes. Je recommande !

Perfect location, cottages in a very nice garden. I saw a wild elephant on the street. The owner doing the best to make me feel at home. The owner had good suggestions for a day tour, organized it with his own tuk tuk, and took me every where I wanted with his tuk tuk, no charges. The home made food was great.

Just few metres away from Habarana railway station, hidden away is this quite sanctuary. It’s well maintained by the owner who is really helpful, friendly & welcoming. He is a great host went out of his way to help. The wild hut resort is surrounded by tall trees and filled with sounds of birds. The well maintained garden edges the forest where most days elephants can be spotted. The basic double, has a queen size bed with clean sheets and ample space inside. The bathroom is also very clean. Traditional Sri Lanka breakfast was also very tasty. Just 3min walk is the Hurulu Eco Safari Park and couple of minutes further up the road is an Army Welfare Cafe. They have a choice of freshly made tasty food. Very reasonably priced. I wish I could have stayed few days more. Great host, Great place!
