B&B Lambda

Staying at Lambda B&B was the best decision of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The warmth, hospitality and care of Dario, our host, was outstanding. He would get fresh Italian baked goods for breakfast, make the most delicious coffee for us and to top it all off he’d suggest the most amazing and underrated places to visit on the Amalfi Coast and also offer to arrange taxi services or bus tickets. He was an absolute gentleman and made us want to extend our stay in Salerno. Our room was perfect, amazing air conditioning and the cleanest toilet as well! We wish him all the best and would recommend all travellers to stay in his B&B for a comfortable and homely experience. 10/10 for me!!

The absolute best stay of my Italy trip! Highly recommended. ​I traveled all around Italy, but this was without a doubt the number one accommodation! ​More than anything, I was deeply moved by the host's warm personality and thoughtful hospitality. There was even a lovely surprise welcoming me—a message written in Japanese on a board! ​Chatting with the host about culture in the refreshing morning air is the absolute best memory of my trip. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. On top of that, the bread served for breakfast was amazing! ​As for the location, it has excellent access to the ferry terminal for Positano, making it the perfect base for sightseeing. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. I would love to come back again!

Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt im B&B Lambda. Unser Gastgeber Dario war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Jeden Morgen gab es ein abwechslungsreiches und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück, dazu jederzeit frischen Kaffee und kaltes Wasser. Die Zimmer und die gesamte Unterkunft waren makellos sauber und sehr gepflegt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die vielen hilfreichen Empfehlungen für Restaurants, Strände und Aktivitäten in und um Salerno. Dario hat uns bei der Planung unserer Ausflüge unterstützt, Informationen zu Bus- und Zugverbindungen gegeben und sich immer Zeit genommen, unsere Fragen zu beantworten. Man merkt, dass ihm das Wohl seiner Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We spent two unforgettable days at B&B Lambda, and it was truly one of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. We were absolutely delighted not only by the property itself, but also by the incredible attitude of the host, Dario. Our trip started with a major force majeure: due to strikes in Italy, our train was canceled. Instead of the planned 17:00, we managed to get to Salerno only at 21:00, losing the whole day. Dario was in touch with us long before our arrival. When he found out about the delay, he was genuinely worried about us. Without any request from our side, he showed great empathy and offered to pick us up from the station and drive us to the apartments in his own car. Dario is an amazing guide. He explained in detail where to go, where to have a great meal, and gave us tips on sightseeing. We even changed our travel plans based on his advice, and we were absolutely right — his recommendations turned out to be much better than what we had originally planned! On top of that, he bought all the bus tickets for us in advance. As for the stay itself: the room was perfectly clean, fresh, and very cozy, equipped with everything you might need. Having asked about our preferences beforehand, Dario prepared a wonderful breakfast and treated us to delicious limoncello. On the check-out day, his hospitality completely blew us away. Knowing that we lost our first day due to the strike, he generously offered us to stay for another night free of charge! Unfortunately, we already had our return tickets booked and had to decline. But despite our departure being scheduled for 5:00 AM, Dario woke up with us at that early hour, made us breakfast, and called a taxi. Dario treated us with genuine warmth and care. This is not just a place to sleep; it’s an attitude you want to return to. I will definitely recommend this B&B to all my friends, and if I ever come to Salerno again, I will stay only with Dario. Quiero decir que Dario ha sido el mejor host que hemos tenido en nuestros hospedajes durante nuestra estancia en Italia, su calidez y disposición para darnos todos los consejos turísticos. Las habitaciones muy limpias, cómodas y confortables. La ubicación del alojamiento muy central, cerca al mar y a paradas de bus, también cerca a la estación de trenes. Alojamiento y anfitrión excepcional!!! 👌🏻❤️

Jó az elhelyezkedés, a kikötőtől nem messze, a pálmafás parti sétányhoz nagyon közel. A házigazda nagyon kedves,segítőkész mindenben. Ha lehetne csillagos 10-est adnék.

L’hôte, Dario, est vraiment une très belle personne. Il prendra soin de vous et vous donnera tous les conseils et tous les endroits à visiter ou aller manger. Disponible à n’importe quelle heure si vous avez des questions. D’une gentillesse qui se fait rare de nos jours.
