Mareluna Penthouse - Luxury Suites

The apartment was very nice, open and cozy with a good view. Owner was very sweet and helpful.. I totally recomment this place 🥰

The room is spacious, the bed is big and comfy, the bathroom also very big and split between sink area and toilet + shower area. The terrace is the best part of this apartment, it has a 270 degrees view to the sea and the mountains and it is very very spacious and equiped with sunbeds, sofas and coffe table with chairs. It also has a string to hang your clothes. There is a mini bar inside the room with free water from the location. The bath has plenty of toilet paper and shower gel/shampoo/lotion. The view is breathtaking from inside aswell. The breakfast was delicious at the café downstairs.

There's only one bedside wall socket in which the lamp is pluged in so you have to decide between lamp or phone charging. It would be nice to include a bin in the room for the future. All the trash we had we had to throw in the bathroom bin. The shampoo/shower gel dispensers in the shower didn't work (?) (Maybe we didn't know how to press them properly) but it was fine because the host put 2 more on the sink and we used those in the shower. Maybe for the future it would be good to install a support in the shower to put these dispensers in, because we had to leave them on the floor each time we used them and then lean down to pick them up each time, but no worries for this, just for convenience. There is no insect net at the windows and there were a lot of mosquitos.

Great location, very close to Salerno train station and the port, making it convenient for taking boats to Amalfi. The room was clean, with a large balcony offering beautiful mountain and partial sea views. The property provides daily room cleaning, which was nice. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, perfect for relaxing.

The host insisted on paying the city tax in cash or via PayPal, as he was not accepting with cards and i was not carrying the cash, and when I asked for a receipt, he said it wasn’t necessary for PayPal payments, which felt unprofessional. I received an email from booking.com saying that the host marked my reservation as “canceled” or “no show,” even though I stayed there. When I inquired, the host said it was a mistake, but it created unnecessary confusion. Communication with the host about the city tax and booking status was not transparent, which slightly impacted the overall experience. Overall, it was a good stay with some minor issues regarding communication with the host.

It was very clean, comfortable, close to the metro, bus station, quiet neighborhood, and the staff 10/10. Good job!

lake of amenities. thought it would be a bit more apartment - e.g. maybe a microwave or a plastice utelsil or two.

Nothing misleading information thought we were getting a luxury penthouse however we got the dodgy room around the corner which did not resemble a penthouse, nor did it resemble anything luxurious. we waited hours in limbo because the operator couldn’t find us on what’s up app contacts however a phone call or an email would’ve sufficed.

Bathroom was very small and unclean . The walls are paper thin could hear everything in next room.
