I arrived early and greeted by son cleaning apologizing for room delay. Jalantik owner very hospitable. An umbrella waiting at the door. Sidemen often has rainfall. Informed me of local Warungs and distance to town. I am a private person so villa was ideal. And the pathway to locate.

Room not provided with kettle tea/coffee cup or water glass.

Very beautiful and spacious villa situated at the top of a hill looking over Mt. Agung. The host was very welcoming and provided us with a scooter for a reasonable price. The breakfast was traditional Balinese which was good to experience. For how much we paid I feel very satisfied with the whole stay. Very close to shops and warungs.

For how much it costs you can’t fault it.

The room is spacious and the owner is an endearing old man (but who doesn't speak English so the communication is quite difficult).

I do not recommend this place at all. I got attracted by the photos, but they are quite tricky. First of all, the location of the place is not the one indicated on Booking. It's close to the main street so very noisy and right next to a mosque which will wake you up at 5am during the call for prayer. There are also street dogs nearby that are barking the whole night. The place seemed quite clean at first (except for the bathroom) but actually many insects come inside the room and there are bed bugs!!! I woke up at night being bitten and scratching myself. The bathroom was quite filthy and there was no hot water and the towels were disgusting and covered with stains. There's no AC either which is ok but the price shouldn't be so high. So really keep away from that place, it's way too expensive for what's offered. There are way better options in Sidemen for the same price or even cheaper.

Nice location, very close to town. The staff was very friendly and kind, also very helpful with tips and recommendations. Good price for what you get.

There was no things to like.

Everything except the caretaker. The property is isolated and the bathrooms were not that clean.

I stayed in the aircon unit within the family compound. It was a really nice room and interesting to be close to Gede and his wife.

Bathroom had no hooks for your towel.

The room was very noisy from main road traffic which made it hard to sleep
