Herr Thapa war über WhatsApp immer erreichbar und hat alle Fragen schnell beantwortet. Er hat einen Fahrer organisiert, der uns vom Flughafen in Bagdogra abgeholt und zum Homestay in Kurseong gebracht hat. Mr. Thapa hat uns dort freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Das Zimmer lag auf einer oberen Ebene neben einer wunderschön bepflanzten und sehr gemütlichen Terrasse mit fantastischem Blick auf die bewaldeten Berge und hinunter ins Tal, der nur durch die tiefhängenden Wolken eingeschränkt war. Die Lage des Homestay ist ruhig. Im Zimmer wurde täglich frisches Trinkwasser zur Verfügung gestellt, es gab einen Wasserkocher, Kaffee und Tee. Die beiden Frauen, die sich um unser Wohlergehen kümmerten, waren freundlich und erfüllten unsere Wünsche. Das Abendessen musste man rechtzeitig bestellen, dann wurde es frisch zubereitet und war sehr gut. Vom Homestay ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang die Straße hinauf, dann ist man am Markt und im Zentrum des Ortes. Der Bahnhof liegt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt, den wir sehr genossen haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das River View Homestay wärmstens empfehlen.

Für mich war das Bett zu hart. Mein Freund fand es in Ordnung.

Great host, staff and property. Out of season, so we found it very cold and difficult to settle properly. Very good customer service.

Too cold and draughty as out of season (Jan/feb), otherwise would have been great. Had a small heater on the go continuously.
