Everything! the place, the hosts, the spa pool, the food! and that’s not in any order. was epic and much needed A++ couldn’t recommend this place any higher than maybe adding a cheeky extra + thanks for having us!

An absolutely amazing visit from start to finish. So welcoming. Every single detail perfect. Wonderful meal, beautiful house and idyllic gardens. Best night sleep in years.

There was absolutely nothing to fault.

Location wise was fantastic for us. During our stay we visited the Hobbiton Movie Farm and enjoyed a day at the Waitomo Caves. Breakfast was a banquet and sustained us for an entire day. Having enjoyed beautifully prepared fresh fruits, baked goods and a hearty cooked breakfast. The room was stunning over looking the beautiful gardens, the bed was super comfy and the spa was so relaxing. Sue and Neil were fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable one. We felt so comfortable and at home in their gorgeous home and gardens and are so grateful for the warm welcome we received. Highly recommend Vila Walton, you won't be disappointed.

Nothing, our hosts and stay exceeded our expectations. We received nothing but the best and were so very grateful for the care and attention that Sue and Neil gave us. Absolutely worth it.

our stay was amazing and highly recommended!! The owners were wonderful and friendly, they made us feel at home and their pup Ted was super adorable too! we loved the most their home style cooking, super delicious Kiwi roast lamb ribs with sticky toffee desserts were one of our favorite dishes this trip!
