Old Monterey Inn

Really neat old bed and breakfast.

Nice B&B beautiful old building and nice staff. Fire alarm in hallway went off two nights in a row so the interruption at 4 in the morning wasn’t fun. Breakfast was delicious.

coudn't get wifi or TV connection, no swimming or jacuzzi, breakfast was poor for the price charged per night, some lights didn't work

This historic home has been beautifully cared for; it is in an excellent location - we walked to all the historic places and eateries; bed and breakfasts have an old time charm, one of them being you are encouraged to interact with the other guests - the travelers we met here were interesting; The gardens and outdoor seating spots are lovely; the staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast and cocktail hour were presented beautifully, adding to the charm of this Inn.

It was unusually warm and we were not able to control the climate settings for our attic room. So, it was stuffy and warm at night. We also found the bathroom to be a bit smelly, but we do acknowledge its age and the warm temperature in our room. I'm not sure if it was unclean or if it perhaps needs a little nip/tuck ;)

Property was clean and staff was welcoming! Would definitely come again!

The location, the gardens, the room, the breakfast, the evening wine and cheese, but most of all - the people.

The front door didn't like me. But there was always someone to rescue me.

We felt very safe and cozy and more than anything we really appreciate the staff and especially Martha and Wendy. Thank you we'll be back!
