Sand'Ana House B&b

Anna was a super host. Friendly and very helpful. Lovely terrace and very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was great and Berry dog strokes a highlight! We enjoyed the 20 minute walk along the seafront to the old town. Alghero is a beautiful city.

We really liked our breakfasts with the view and Berry, Ana’s dog lurking around. The walk from the property to the city center was quiet pleasant.

My friend and I felt immediately at home at lovely Sand’Ana House B&B. Our host Anna greeted us warmly on arrival and, throughout our stay , she was incredibly thoughtful, helpful and kind. She provided fabulous suggestions for restaurants, even booking a special lobster dinner for my friend’s birthday. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful with delicious, simple home-cooked food and a beautiful view of the sea. Berry, Anna’s cute little dog, gave us a friendly welcome each morning. Our room was spotlessly clean, quite spacious and very comfortable, with our own private terrace. The location was ideal, quiet and away from the busy tourist area. Ample street parking. The walk into the historic old town, along the picturesque waterfront, was enjoyable, especially at sunset, and about 20 minutes. Overall, a delightful stay in a superb guesthouse, with warm generous hospitality. We absolutely loved it. Grazie Mille, Anna!

Not within walking distance from the city center. But enough free parking space in the street of the apartment & very close to the city center.

Everything worked just fine. The lady Anna was very helpful. It has been a very pleasant stay.

It’s like a home from home, in a quiet residential area, with stunning sea views, beautiful balconies, all you can hear is birds singing. Anna is an amazing host, she makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Breakfast is delicious, all home made and fresh. Her little helper Berry the dog is an added bonus, he loves the guests and he’s super cute! What a lovely stay.

Just to be clear , this is a room in the house of some guests, not a hotel or an apartment for you. It is extremely noisy, with zero acoustic isolation. Breakfast is scarce and directly from Lidl. Such is the quality. You will share the table with other guests and a dog that will jump on your lap for food. I guess that this kind of guesthouse has its public (otherwise, i don't know how to explain the high score), but be aware that for the same price, you have 4 star hotel, way better located. Don't be fooled. PS: I almost forgot! - only hot water for a single shower. Then you need to wait for recharge. Keep that in mind if you are a couple, since the host will not tell you in advance, and later will scold you for using too much water.
