B&B Mamma Rosa Positano

The place is absolutely amazing. Very clean with a great view on the cost. Angelo is literally the best host I’ve ever met. Helpful, understanding and generous. Breakfasts are delicious and served directly to your room. Eating them on the cosy balcony makes it a special experience. TRULY WORTH RECOMMENDATION!

Beautiful little place, it is quite high up but the steps to get there are worth it. The views from our balcony were stunning. Angelo made us feel very welcome, gave us lots of recommendations and provided the best breakfast each morning which was a great start to our day. This is a lovely b&b and i would recommend to anyone looking to stay Positano.

Location, host, view, breakfast & the dinner we had on our final evening are excellent. The property was very clean & well maintained at all times.

The 227 steps from the main road upto it but for the view you get from the balcony we could for that. My partner found the bed a tad hard but you can’t cater for everyone.

Angelo was the best host, super helpful & friendly. Very informative with good local knowledge to help us book any thing we needed. The view from the terrace makes the steps up to the property well worth it. Excellent breakfast, 3 lovely restaurants and a shop within walking distance. Transport is needed to get to the B and B , we used the buses which run hourly but very busy. Taxi cost is around 50€ We absolutely loved our stay and we are going to miss the breakfast and view every morning!

We had an unforgettable stay at Mama Rosa B&B for our 4 nights on Amalfi Coast. The property is in a lovely peaceful town of Montepertuso, about 10-15mins drive from Positano centre. Angelo is the most hospitable host, and you can see he puts his heart into making each guest’s stay perfect. Angelo gave us tips to navigate around, helped us with the porter service, restaurant recommendations and was always willing to help if needed. Our breakfast on the terrace each morning was a highlight, and the view from the terrace is outstanding. We loved how peaceful it was coming home from the busy Positano centre. There are 200 or so steps to get to the property from the road, (so must be healthy/good mobility to stay here), but the view was so worth it. It was nice to do some exercise on the way home each day after our pasta and gelato too! On our last night Mama Rosa herself even made us dinner and it was fantastic. We couldn’t recommend Angelo and his sweet B&B more!

Nothing we didn’t like, but worth mentioning there are many stairs to reach the property. Angelo was so kind to even carry our bags up on arrival, so these weren’t an issue for us.

If you come for the view, this is the place 👌 But you have to be in a good shape, 220 steep.The host was extremely kind to carry my bag, just don't bring a lot of stuff. You won't need it anyway
