The lodge is beautiful and the surrounding countryside is sublime. Its such a beautiful area like fairyland, and might well be, as it is a very special and sacred place I really enjoyed my stay with Anne and Michael. They are lovely people, so friendly and hospitable They are also very accommodating. Very patient with me squirelling away a lovely plate and other bits of crockery overnight and leaving gaps on the breakfast table 😄 The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable It was great to have the ensuite bathroom And everything so clean I would definitely like to go back there again some time

The only one thing I would like to have would be a brighter main light in the bedroom and bathroom

The perfect spot if you are looking to attend the Beltaine or Samhain festivals at the nearby Hill of Uisneach! There is really nothing else in the vicinity and we were so well looked after by Anne who is the perfect host, friendly, communicative and takes such good care of her guests, the breakfast was superb!

No cons to report, everything was perfect.
