"Loved everything and my sister and l were put in adjoining rooms which was very thoutful."

Breakfast was generous. Mixing with other guests at breakfast was pleasant. Enjoyed sitting in the parlour with a mug of tea in the afternoon.

The cooked breakfast one day had an odd selection. Sausage and an oat mix.

It was a classic historic Savannah residence, with a beautiful courtyard in the rear yard; breakfast was great, and the ladies serving breakfast were so friendly!

"Historic comfortable property - relaxed atmosphere"

The Catherine Ward house is a lovely place to stay. Close to Forsyth park and a short ride from the centre of town via the free bus, the bus stop is 5/10 walk away. We have only stayed in 2 different rooms but both were very comfortable, clean and decorated with a modern and stylish look which is how I would describe the whole property. Free parking is available easily located around the back of the property. Lovely breakfast prepared by the host who are on hand and happy to assist any queries or questions. This is our go to property when ever visiting Savannah - we will return

"Southern Charm at its best"

The staff is so wonderful, helpful and welcoming. Delicious snacks and water/tea available throughout the day. The location is prime and we highly recommend walking into town or there is the free dot bus at certain times.

This charming place is so well located if you want to be next to Forsyth Park and away from the bustle of the more touristy areas along the river and downtown. Quiet, tasteful decorated, incredibly friendly staff. With all the charm of a grand old Savannah house and all the comfort of staying with family where you can help yourself to the coffee and tea in the kitchen. It doesnโ€™t have a bar or a pool. There is no scene. Itโ€™s the perfect hideaway. The only reason I didnโ€™t rate it higher was due to a leaky air conditioner in our bathroom which could not get fixed over the weekend. Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s fixed by now.

Staff were wonderful and went to effort to meet our dietary requirements. The house itself is delightful, and well located close to the historic area. Breakfasts were varied and great.

Our room (#7) was quite small and rather dark.
