B House

Staying at B.House, was fabulous we’re we’re in a prim location. You could see and hear the hustle and bustle of Cagliari but in no way did that mean it was noise!! In fact at night ( for sleeping it was perfectly quiet) We’d include d breakfast in our stay so just had to take a ticket down to a local bakers/ restaurant we’re we had fabulous croissants and fresh coffee every day of our stay. Even purchasing their fresh orange juice which was amazing. The staff there were lovely even thought we only had very basic Italian. B.house was extremely clean, our room was very bright and airy. Having air conditioning was a must as the temperature out side were incredibly hot . The bathroom had all that we need and water pressure in the shower was great! We actually visited Cagliari when the temperature’s were in the 40’s so we were showering frequently. Claudia the lady that was running B.house was extremely lovely and helpful and we had great communication with her. Even though we didn’t speak each other languages!! We’d return in a heartbeat and hope to return next year.

The only thing I could say was we could have done with was a kettle although we did have a coffee machine.And we could have used the kettle in the communal area.

Perfect location, close to restaurants, sights and train/bus station. Can walk everywhere, breakfast croissant and coffee was very nice. The host was super friendly and made check-in and check-out very easy.

There are a few restaurants underneath the guesthouse that can be noisy until late but it didn’t bother us.

Everything was great, the host Claudia is very friendly.

Wifi sometimes did not work or was weak.

The location was excellent and the property was lovely. We got the train (€1.30) from the airport to the main station and it was around an 8 minute walk from the station. We ate at the restaurant and the gelato shop opposite both were great. We did not have any issues with noise from the restaurants as we expect noise when we stay in the middle of cities. Good communication from owner. Enough space to hang clothes (around 5 hangers each)and unpack onto shelves. Sockets next to the bed, little fridge for water etc. In the main hallway there are beach umbrellas etc by the door. We didn’t use these. Nice bathroom with toiletries and shower has a ledge for sitting/toiletries We used our breakfast vouchers in Dulcis. They were worth €4pp per day and the staff there basically allowed us to order up to the value. I don’t eat breakfast so we usually had a cappuccino each and my husband had a toasted sandwich or ham and cheese croissant rather than a sweet pastry You can get the PF or PQ bus to the beach from the bus stop at the bottom of the road. Tickets €1.30 from the tabbachis. Validation machine tends to be at the back of the bus. Make sure you validate your tickets. We took the bus 6 times and inspectors boarded and fined people 3 times

There were intermittent power cuts each night we were there caused by works in the area. This meant air con, charging phones, lights etc didn’t work for a while. Builders set up scaffolding on the balconies on behalf of others in the building at 7:30am on a Sunday Neither were the fault of the owner who apologised profusely and allowed us a late check out on our last day but maybe be aware and take a power bank Folding Shower door did not close properly

The location is great. A lot of restaurants and stores are just a couple of minutes walk. The train and bus are just 5 minutes walk. The apartment is big and confortable. The owner is great. The apartment is clean, big and with space for the luggages.

The windows are single glazed and are directly on top of restaurants. It's kind of noisy up until 01-02AM.

An absolut gem in the heart of old town Cagliari! The host/hostess replied all the messages fast and was very helpful when we had questions. The room is very big and has all the amenities you can wish for. Very beautiful indeed!

The only downside I can think of in the room was the shower door - it didn't stay closed and kept opening towards you when showering, so it got a little tight. Also good to know that the breakfast coupons they offer to two nearby cafes only allow italian breakfast, which is just a cup of coffee, glass of water and one pastry (for example a croissant).

We had a room with two Single beds. The room had nice design. Beds were comfortable. * Lots of thanks to Claudia(administrator), she was always in touch with us and tried to fulfill all our requests. * We had tickets for breakfast. One ticket has equivalent of 4 Euro. You can use it at two cafés. * Central location. Plenty of restaurants and shops are around. * Very clean.

* There is quite loude because of central location. The noise of surrounding restaurants and planes taking off didn't allow to sleep first day. But we somehow got used to it. * WiFi signal was bad in our room

Seamless checkin as you get all the details you need in advance. Central location easily reachable from the train station where the train from the airport stops. Very comfortable room. For breakfast you get vouchers in two nearby cafes to choose from. We definitely recommend the Dulcis Pasticceria. We would recommend this apartment for a short stay.

There are lots of reviewers complaining about the noise. It was extremely noisy during the night don't forget the earplugs. From the other hand this is a lively and crowded location.

The room was very clean and comfortable.
