The location was nice and close to both the train station and the downtown area. Luigi, the host, was excellent, very hospitable and communicative. The room was very clean and the check in and out process was very easy. The breakfast was very good and I enjoyed having breakfast on the patio!

Die Wohnung, die Lage, die Sauberkeit alles war super. Luigi war der netteste Gastgeber den man sich vorstellen kann. Er hat uns jeden Morgen das Frühstück vorbeigebracht und serviert und tolle Tips gegeben. Wenn wir wieder nach Sorrento kommen, würden wir erneut dort übernachten. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100% ☺️

Luigi, the owner, personally greets his guests and give very specific instructions to get into the property and how to operate the doors which is very simple but you could easily forget if you are not paying attention. I stayed in the triple sharing room. I had a king bed and sofa bed. Lots of space! The bathroom is very spacious and clean. Housekeeping comes at 10 am. I did not need to use the safe although it was provided. Breakfast is brought by Luigi each morning you are available. Coffee and tea are hot and sandwiches, breads are freshly made. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room is located on a Main Street which was pleasant for me to see locals going about early in their day while I was having breakfast. It is strategically located to the main sorrento square and a few minutes away from the basilica. I would go on an easy jog from the Luro to the marina and back up in 30 mins or so. I wish I stayed longer. I will come back!

There was a bit of a snafu in arranging my transportation to back to the airport. Instead of getting a Mercedes limo, I had to ride a regular taxi wherein the driver kept his windows open and air conditioning off during the majority of my ride from sorrento to Naples airport then he bluntly asked for a tip. I paid the agreed contracted price for the ride. Definitely got me from point A to B and I didn’t have to walk the cobblestones with my luggage as cars are able to enter the property. If you took the bus to sorrento, be ready to walk and drag your luggage to your hotel/bed & breakfast. Bed and breakfasts are very competitive in this area, my mom and her friends stayed at the Maison Dorotea in a building across the street a few meters away from the Maison Luro property. I was there often there from Early breakfasts which was mostly composed of packaged pastries before we had to shuttle off To the next tour and for a night cap. Although the Dorotea in the inside looks newly renovated, the rooms are small and what looks like an ongoing construction in the building, my mom and her friends were unable to open their windows. I’m glad the Dorotea was not able to accommodate me which made me find the gem Maison Luro..

The property and staff were lovely and perfect for our short honeymoon after our elopement. Luigi was so sweet and helpful!! He gave us all the necessary info for the room and recommendations for things to do and eat around Sorrento. The room was so clean and updated, one of the biggest bathrooms I've had while visiting Europe. Eating breakfast on the balcony reach morning was so beautiful! The location was great to be so close to the main streets. The road is busy but you cannot tell from inside with doors closed (and AC works great so you dont get hot at all!). We will definitely be back on future anniversaries trips! THANK YOU LUIGI & STAFF!

This place was in a great location and pretty much walking distance from anything you want to do. It was on a busy street but was still very quiet. Luigi was an excellent host and helped us with everything we needed. He even remembered it was our anniversary and brought us a bottle of rose and some chocolates. He brings you breakfast every morning and sets it up nicely on the patio for you. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a great spot in sorrento!

עיצוב, אווירה, ניקיון, מרחב, שילוב של בית אבן עתיק עם לופט מודרני. והכל חדש ונקי. ויחס נפלא וקשוב מהמארחים. חניה צמודה בתוך העיר העתיקה. אווירה של קריסמס בינואר. הכל היה פשוט נפלא. התמורה הכי טובה למחיר שקיבלנו על מקום בארץ למשפחה.
