It was comfortable and very welcoming It could not have been more welcoming Very helpful and made our stay very memorable

My daughter and I spent 5 days at Afrikhaya and were well looked after by Joyce and Lorraine. We had an incredibly restful and peaceful stay and all our needs were well taken care of. Will definitely recommend Afrikhaya as a fantastic place to stay when you have a fun filled visit planned.

Maybe one or 2 covered parking spots for in case of poor weather conditions.

the accomodation is incredibly beautiful! and you get a very authentic experience. Joyce and her team were very welcoming and adapted the breakfast and everything to or needs. best service so far and I have been travelling for years now. She really wants you to have a good experience. in town this accomodation is the only one that gives you an authentic african feeling and the garden with pool and tropical garden are very private.

My husband and I did extensive research on where to stay in the area, we wanted a safari yet traditional feel with a luxurious aspect that is comfortable, clean, neat, and well-located. Afrikhaya met our every need! Marshall is a terrific host, check in was simple yet informative. We secured and booked our excursions at Afrikhaya reception, which made our short time well spent and arrangements effortless. Marshall also recommended some good restaurants where we enjoyed lovely dinners. He also provided information regarding the beaches and helpful tips about the national parks. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The lodge is beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed the pool and their lovely garden. At St Lucia, we saw some incredible wildlife, came close to Elephants and buffalo and had the road blocked by a group of giraffes. The bird life was incredible, we had monkeys steal our crisps, to mention just a few awesome memories. We went on an amazing sundowner cruise where we were able to take some terrific photographs of the hippos. A photographer's dream! Marshall, we will Glady recommend Afrikhaya to local and international clientele. Thank you for hosting us and for the memorable stay. We will definitely be back!
