"Lovely, welcoming B&B."

What a lovely place to stay - a proper B&B. Fauza was very welcoming, chatty and friendly. She gave us some great restaurant recommendations - one of the best meals I've had in Italy. The breakfast was lovely - all the usual Italian buffet options, plus a little local speciality to try - things I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. The room was very nice, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. It's very close to the train station, which was perfect for us, and the driections were spot on. I noticed that if you're cycling Mimmo can help with bike problems and you can use the washing machine.

"Comfy stay with a charming host in an excellent location!"

Excellent B&B in a central location right next to the train station with charming and helpful host Fauzia (who speaks excellent English). Lovely room, felt like home, with a nice newly renovated bathroom and a spacious nicely decorated room. The best part was the breakfast - a real treat, better than any breakfast I've ever had in Italy. Mantua is a beatiful gem of a town away from the large tourist crowds but world-class attractions in the form of the Palazzo Ducale and Palazzo Te, as well as plenty of interesting architecture, grand churches and a beautiful "sister town" in Sabbioneta (together they form a UNESCO World Heritage) well-worth a day tour. Do visit Mantua and do stay at Art & Books B&B!

"Homely stay with great personal host!"

Fauzia is a very personal host - we enjoyed the great service and care with attention to detail. The location is good - 1 min from the train station and 15 min walk through a nice, lively street with shops to the city centre. Also fairly close (10 min walk) to Palazzo Te. All amenities were very clean and little complementary items were provided. Breakfast was great, more than enough in a homely atmosphere with little Mantuan specialities that change everyday. Thanks for the great hospitality, Fauzia!
