Bon Accord Mirissa

Charming property hosted by Prasad who was a super attentive host. Local recommendations for restaurants in the area . Very close to beaches and to town. Lovely to have a wardrobe! Very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Prasad was able to organise eco-aware whale watching trip for us (but we didn't see any whales 😥)

Room was a little on the small side for two people with large suitcases.

What not to like? Great hospitality with nice breakfast and a super clean room. Owners are super attentive, explaining each item at the breakfast. There are complementary beach towels. If you pass by a hotel, you can easily access to the Mirissa beach. Secret beach and whale watching organizations are also close. We also used their laundry service with a reasonable price .

Our stay was great. The accommodation was excellent. Everything was clean and it had all the necessary things. 2 min walk to the beach and 5 min to the city center. The variations of the Sri Lankan breakfast were perfect, Prasad made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. Always ready to answer and help with everything. Warm recommendations for this accommodation and Prasad. if the rating could be more than 10, Prasad would get it from us.

Everything. It was very clean and calm. We saw monkeys from the balcony. Whenever we left the building our super friendly host gave me a flower or a necklace or wreath of flowers. The topical sri lankan breakfast das amazing. We got beach towels and they provide laundry service too. We would have prolonged our stay, but the property was already fully booked.

We had the room towards the street which gets a bit noisy once the street gets busy in the morning. Plus, you always have a short walk ahead of you (which was not a big issue for us)

I had a fabulous stay with Prasad. His attention to detail is exceptional with fresh flowers, daily cleaning and regular linen change, and he gave me a paper with a list of places to visit and eat at. I started each morning early with coffee, which he was happy to provide, while I did some work. Then I sat down to a banquet of a breakfast with different Sri Lankan foods and fresh fruit each day. His knowledge of the history of Mirissa is fascinating and he is always courteous and attentive. I would definitely recommend if staying in Mirissa.

The host Prasad is amazing, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit different every morning, with very good, local foods. Especially the fruit plate was beautiful and delicious. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with an effective AC. The guesthouse is close to the Mirissa beach and also the harbour, if you are going whale watching. You can see wild monkeys and peacocks from the balcony, which we loved. Overall a perfect stay!

It was a wonderful stay. The house and rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfasts are delicious, varied, and traditional to Sri Lankan cuisine. The owner is a wonderful person.

Excellent host who arranged everything for us. Brilliant location 5 minutes walk from the beach and town centre, but in a quiet spot.
