Dambulla Rock Arch

Really nice place, rooms are very spacious and really nice.

To spoil an otherwise excellent stay, one of the family, a guy who arranges transport, booked me a car for a trip I didn't ask for. I arrived for breakfast at the usual time 8am but was confronted with "... your driver is here, he's been waiting since 6.30am". I was totally confused and went out to see the driver along with the guy who'd booked him. I told the driver that I hadn't booked this trip ... the transport guy said "But he's cancelled all his other trips today so he can drive you, it's 15,000 rupees, I didn't have your phone number". Long story short, I gave the driver 5,000 as he may have been conned into taking me on a trip. The experience was a bad reflection on this property and the other family members who run the business as they are all very nice, very helpful, and try their best to provide a very nice and comfortable stay ... pity.

Schöne große Zimmer mit hübschen Balkonen. Obwohl sehr zentral in Dambulla gelegen, ist es herrlich ruhig gewesen und nur die Natur war zu hören, was ich persönlich sehr genossen habe. Die Besitzer, ein älteres, sehr freundliches Ehepaar, können Kontakt zu einem Fahrer und der Organisation verschiedener Touren herstellen. Ich persönlich habe das nicht benötigt, da die Bushaltestellen quasi direkt vor der Haustüre lagen und ich so gut auf die lokalen Busverbindungen zurückgreifen und alle Touren alleine organisieren konnte. Es gab ein sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück:)

Ich hätte mir mehr Sauberkeit gewünscht und ein weniger aktives Bewerben des Fahrers und der Touren.

街から近いが大通りから奥まった位置にあり、空気が澄んでおり静かだった点。 部屋が広かった点。 バルコニーで涼めた事。 少し遠い(片道徒歩30分)ですが、洞窟寺まで歩いて行けた事。 シーギリヤ行きのバスターミナルが近かった事。

This was really the best experience in Sri Lanka. Mama - the owner lady is so lovely. I already miss u mama. Room was 10/10, very quiet, comfortable and peaceful. Close to good restaurants and even walkable. I really want to come back

One of the best location in your one month travel in Sri Lanka. Just perfectl.
