An absolutely lovely and relaxing place. One of my favourite stays in New Zealand the passed seven months by far!

Breakfast was very good.

Lovely hosts and outlook. Easy to find and quiet location. Breakfast was refreshing and more than sufficient. Great shower too!

Bathroom was rather cosy! Smaller was than expected based on photos however it was suitable for two.

Loved the rural atmosphere. But thought we would have been on a lake.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Warren the owner met us and brought a basket of breakfast goodies to the cottage which is away from the main house and has a sunny porch with small table and chairs for outside relaxation. Microwave, small refrigerator, dishes, coffee machine were all on hand for a short stay. Good WIFI and easy to use TV. Nice large parking area and the grounds were very serene and bucolic.

Just a tip for those that are either very tall or overweight, the bathroom is very narrow and knees will touch the wall if using the toilet. The shower was large for the room which was nice.

Great location away from it all but close enough to restaurants etc.

As we came to pick up a dog. Unfortunately they don’t take dogs so we would be unlikely to return😞
