Great location, lovely breakfast with locally sourced products. Generous selection of cakes, biscuits and even complimentary wine to help yourself to. Excellent location to the centre of Ambleside, room very tidy and comfortable and tastefully decorated. We appreciated all the little extras and would definitely come back again. Very friendly host.

It was clean, newly refurbished, homely, had all the amenities you’d want and Janet the owner was incredibly friendly

Super location with a room that was quality and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was lovely with nothing being too much trouble. Cakes on hand to help yourself to and bottled water in the fridge which with the heat wave was much appreciated.

Leaving - cant wait for our next visit :)

There wasn’t anything to criticise or complain about. I am a well travelled person and this establishment ticks all the boxes in every department.

First time stay. Good information prior to arrival. Thoughtful & friendly hosts. Janet met us upon arrival & explained everything & gave us the keys so we could access our room as soon as we had finished our walk. Room was bigger than some we have stayed in & very comfortable. Lovely breakfast (gluten free option provided) & lovely touches available (drinks, wine & cake) to help yourself. Great location. We’ll definitely stay again.
