Breakfast excellent Large bedroom with plenty of seating. Helpful instructions on nearby places to eat and offering opportunity to bring takeaway meals back to eat in the lounge.

Die Hotelinhaber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und sauber. Das Hotel hat ein besonderes Ambiente.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Daher ist die ein oder andere Renovierung sowie der Austausch bzw. die Reparatur von einzelnen Möbelstücke erforderlich.

A warm welcome, great communication and a very comfortable bed - I slept well which is not always guaranteed when away from home! Breakfast was lovely too. I also was really happy that my room had a bath. The bathroom was very clean. I liked that there was parking too. Very close to Port Sunlight and the Lady Lever gallery.

The furniture (chair / sofa etc) in the room was a bit shabby and stained-looking, which was a slightly off putting first impression, marks on the wall etc - just surface stuff though. A throw and a lick of paint etc would have turned it around but it didn't really bother me that much as everything else was fine for my needs.

Great hotel- Have stayed here before. Great location south of the river. Perfect price point for my stay. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and friendly hosts. Excellent

Lighting arrangements re bedside lights process for turning off were crazy No blind or curtain in Bathroom General maintenance of room left some room for improvement

It's a beautiful period house. The owner couldn't do enough to help. She was lovely. I'd booked a single room, but she gave me a double. Which was spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast, cooked to order. I will stay again. I felt very safe there.
