I had a pleasant stay at this guesthouse over the weekend. One of the standout features for me was its excellent location — it is conveniently situated next to the mall and close to other essential facilities, making it very easy to move around and get from one place to another. Despite being so central, the area is quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to rest and sleep comfortably at night. There was a small misunderstanding upon arrival regarding the room allocation, as a different room had initially been assigned. However, this was resolved, and I was given the room I had reserved, which had a double bed and a single bed, as requested. I appreciated that the matter was handled and that I ultimately received the correct room. Overall, the convenience of the location, combined with the calm environment, made the stay enjoyable. I would recommend this guesthouse, especially for anyone looking for easy access to nearby amenities without sacrificing peace and quiet.

Customer service over the phone was disappointing. When I was called on Friday to confirm my arrival time, the gentleman on duty spoke to me in an overly casual and unprofessional manner, as though I were an acquaintance or friend rather than a paying guest. The call was even ended with a phrase like “sharp” or “sure,” which I found inappropriate and lacking professionalism. Although the room appeared clean at surface level, there were insects inside the cupboards, which made us uncomfortable and led to us deciding not to unpack our clothes. In addition, we were only provided with one dirty teaspoon, which was quite shocking — I ended up having to purchase new teaspoons myself. While the towels, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases looked clean, they had a very unpleasant smell, suggesting that they had been sitting in the room for some time and were not freshly laundered before our arrival. The bathroom was the biggest concern. It had a strong sewage-like smell that made it very unpleasant to use, and we rushed our bathroom visits just to get out as quickly as possible. The bathtub hot water tap was not working, which forced us to use the shower. This was particularly inconvenient as I was travelling with a small child who cannot use a shower yet, so I had to improvise by using our steriliser bucket to pour hot water into the bathtub. Additionally, the toilet paper holder was broken, meaning the toilet paper had to be placed on top of the cistern, which was inconvenient. There was also no bathroom mat provided, and we had to use one of the towels instead. Overall, the bathroom clearly needs urgent attention, as such a strong smell is not normal and significantly affects comfort.
