Harry's bed and breakfast

There were personal touches like calling when you’ll get here and making sure everything is fine. The amenities were great like extra coffee and tea, even some toiletries which were very helpful.

The only thing I may comment is the shower curtains. I personally prefer shower glass doors just for cleanliness and modern feel.

Located off a main road some distance out of Cambridge but with pubs and restaurants nearby, the city centre is a 15 to 20 minute walk along the river but with a bus stop very nearby for those who don't want to walk. The bedroom is large and comfortable located at the front of the property but road noise was not a problem. The continental breakfast was extensive and good quality with ham, cheese, breads, toast, croissants, marmalades and preserves, fruit, cereal and boiled eggs, fruit juice, tea and coffee.

They only cater for one bedroom and there is only room for one car on the driveway, however the proprietors leave their car in a side street opposite so parking is not really a problem.

Excellent B and B. Hosts Chris and Dusa could not have been more helpful. Property was very clean, cosy and furnished with traditional brown furniture full of character. The continental breakfast was excellent with choices of fruit, cereals and cold meats all beautifully displayed in a spacious dining room. The bedroom was spacious with a large, comfortable double bed. The bathroom was spotless. Chris was very helpful providing a city map and suggestions for suitable dining places in the evenings. They are a really friendly and welcoming couple.

The room was lovely - very spacious, and full of lovely furniture and character. Breakfast was beautifully presented and there was huge variety. We felt very welcome and the hospitality was amazing.
