Mill Croft Bed and Breakfast

An enjoyable stay at Mill Croft. Excellent breakfast; room well-stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits. Short walk to the station and the Rail Trail to Grosmont. Parking easy. Gill, the host could not have been more helpful. We will stay again.

Room was adequate, comfortable but we would have preferred something slighter bigger. We will book early and ask for one of the larger rooms next time.

Absolutely spotless and all new finishing. Couple who own it were so welcoming and friendly

The room was comfortable with all the comforts of home. The breakfast was delicious and we were ready to face the day's walking. The location was central and within walking distance of all we wanted to see.

Cannot think of anything at the moment

The breakfast was superb, cooked to perfection, and lots of choice. The location of the property is very good because it is just a nice distance from the main road but still close to all the facilities.

I can’t say anything negative about this B & B. The road that it is located on is private, it does have a lot of potholes but this was not a problem for us.

Booked this for my mum and her friend, they said it was amazing, one of the friendliest and cleanest properties they have ever stayed in. The hosts couldn’t do enough for them and breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Nothing not to like.

The breakfast was lovely food was excellent quality and well cooked. Fruit and fruit juice excellent and a good choice of cereals. The location was good although a small village it was a few minutes walk to a good restaurant for dinner and 10 minute walk to the railway. also a good place to stay and explore the area by car. Gill was very friendly and helpful we had some lovely chats!

The breakfast was excellent, good choices of food on offer the fruit was fresh every day.

Could not have been better.
