The owner got angry when I kindly asked for an invoice and wanted to check if the bank has not taken the money already as I had to pay in cash. That made me scared and left with a bad aftertaste.

We didn’t not like anything.
FREverywhere was absolutely spotless! Andrea cleans every single day and there isn’t a single speck of dust, mark or stain to be found anywhere. Room cleaning is daily, fresh towels were provided for us after 2 nights. Essentials are provided in the room (shower gel, hairdryer, adapters for European plugs, kettle with tea and coffee, minibar). Breakfast was great, my partner is vegan and when she asked if fruit could be provided it was, a selection of fresh fruit every day For those like me who will eat anything, breakfast is a nice spread of sweet and savoury offerings, with cold cuts, yoghurt, cereal… The espresso is very good, the regular coffee a little weak for our taste but perfectly adequate
I deducted one point from my overall score for comfort, which even for the price is lacking in some areas. We booked the standard double room, and were disappointed by the mattress that we both found to be uncomfortable. This was a big deal for us. Other things are far less significant but I do wish to highlight them to help the owner make improvements or future travellers to make an informed booking. The minibar fridge was very noisy at times, not constantly but every now and then it would start making a loud buzzing. There is no sound insulation whatsoever between the rooms, so we could hear other guests speaking, their alarm clock in the morning… Nothing can be done about this, it wasn’t too important for us but I can appreciate that for some guests it would be extremely important, hence why I mention it It would’ve been nice to have been shown the billiards table when we checked in, when we wanted to use it in the evening we couldn’t find the owner to ask for it and we didn’t think to ask at breakfast.

FRAndrea and Aya were very kind and very helpful to us throughout our stay, really clean and quiet house with a beautiful relaxing pool! But what struck us the most is the kindness of the owners! I recommend anyone coming to Gozo to stay in this beautiful villa! Grazie Andrea e Aya
