The Beach Cottage Kappad

Beautiful property, very close to the beach. Especially stunning at night with all the lights on. The onsite caretakers were lovely and we really enjoyed the food. Would be a great venue for a party too with the bar and swing area.

If an accommodation is not available, it should not be on a platform. There is the corruption of the owners, who leave them on the platform, but cancel if they get another higher price on the outside, as well as the irresponsibility of the booking itself, which always throws its weight away in this type of situation.

Absolutely stunning place with lovely staff and the best rooms. The WiFi, food and beach also amazing. I couldn't recommend this place enough. They also helped with travel, washing and sightseeing. Thank you for having me.

Great location. The beach is walking distance away and is very pretty.

We booked the room on the first floor, which was supposed to have a sea view. There isn't much of a view to begin with. The room smelt bad, so we asked the caretaker to spray some freshener, which he promptly did. For about an hour, the caretaker struggled to get the water going in the bathroom taps, but could not quite succeed. He finally asked us to move in to the room on the ground floor. This room is indeed better equipped than the one on the first floor, but unfortunately, the bathroom is tiny with next to no amenities inside. There isn't a hook even to hang your clothes and when you are travelling with your family, such blunders cannot be excused. The breakfast is very sparse and the caretaker was almost apologetic about this offering. We did not complain, as the couple managing this property are really doing their best, but it is simply unreasonable on the owner's part to leave just about everything in the hands of the former. All said and done, we had a lovely time thanks to the nature surrounding us, a decent air conditioner and this ever-smiling couple who helped alleviate our stay. The less said about the property, the better.

Great stay - whole property is very clean and had everything we needed. Good location right near the beach, good Wi-Fi and very tasty food. We enjoyed all the games available and the caretakers were excellent too. Hope to return soon.

What an amazing stay!! The location is beautiful, right next to blue flagged Kappad beach, perfect for relaxing in the sunset. The property itself is very well turned out, very comfy room, including high quality mattresses. The highlight of this stay has to be the excellent attention of the staff who tended to my every request without delay and to a superb standard. We requested food both downstairs for breakfast and to be brought up to our room at night and both were expertly executed and the prices were very reasonable. It was so easy to book as well, the owner is so accommodating and could easily charge so much more for this exquisite property - we cannot wait to book again!!!

I spent 5000inr for my stay and food. It was really worth below 500inr. No running water but gunning water. Bath is so small that even a rat will find it difficult to take a bath. Toilet seat came down while sitting. Peanut masala was charged 85inr but it was prepared with 5 inr peanut. Fish used for curry seemed to be of ageold.
