Trikeles is a beautiful place to stay. Set back from the main road surrounded by a park with lots of trees, it felt very secure and was a lovely environment to wake up and come back to. The bed was SUPER comfy, the rooms pristine and spacious, the bathroom with an amazing rainforest shower, all surrounded by fun art and trinkets 😊 I loved the little terrace too, nice for having coffee. Stefania was so friendly and welcoming, and left all the important information in WhatsApp message as well as going through it when I arrived, much appreciated. She was quick to respond to any questions I had too. I loved having the biscotti, Nespresso machine, and array of other treats to help myself to in the kitchen area, a really nice touch.

Although it was really convenient for getting to Mondello beach and the airport, I felt the walk to the centre was a bit long – it’s approx 15 mins to the beginning of the main shopping area, but nearer 30 to get to a lot of the main sights. It wasn’t too much of an issue as I like walking and it was a straightforward route, but something to bear in mind. The walk itself felt safe at night, as it’s in a nice part of town. Also I found the light switches confusing, maybe some guidance around them could be nice? 😅 a minor point!

Just outside old city, less tourists and strategically between old city and Mondello beach. Great for parking your car.

The private bathroom is on the hallway, but with only 3 rooms in total and 1 other room on the same floor not a problem. There was some construction work going on but wasn’t an issue for us as we wake up early and they stopped in the afternoon.

Although not a traditional B&B (breakfast made for you in the morning), you are provided with complimentary coffee, fruit and pastries, an added bonus the B&B provide a coupon for coffee ( of your choice), pastry and cornetto from a café just around the corner from the premises! You get to experience coffee in the morning lazing on the roof top of the apartment and coffee Sicilian style in a local ( very fancy) café. The whole experience is fantastic.

Perfect location in a quiet and elegant part of the city at walking distance from the city center. Spacious and clean room in a beautiful and stylish apartment with an internal terrace. Very friendly owners and staff. Thanks Stefania!

This was our starting point in Sicily with a warm welcome in this absolutely amazing room, equipped with art and charme. The owners are absolutely classy and the rooms and the whole flat reflect the elegance of old Palermo.

This place is fantastic! Stefania was so lovely and helpful, really goong above and beyond at every step! The room was really large, comfortable and clean, with a nice little balcony. There were little pastries and coffee in the common area. It is true that the bathroom was not attached to the bedroom, but is directly across from it, so to me it wasn't a problem at all. There are only 2 rooms in the BnB each with their own bathroom, so it is still super private. There are also robes provided in case you're not wanting to hop across the hall in a towel. Stefania let us check in super early as our ferry got in around 9 am, and provided us with an extra breakfast for the early morning arrival, all free of charge. She also let us use some towels for the beach. Honestly, I don't give 10s very much but I was really blown away at the hotel and the service. Highly recommend.

I would say the only thing is that the prices of the drinks in the mini-fridge in the room are a bit excessive for the soda and beer, but really if you don't want them you can just get some at the shop and use the fridge.

Everything! We felt like at home! The host and her family went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The place was stunning, very clean and great attention to detail. Definitely this place went beyond expectations.
