The Studio at Maspie House

Everything! The space was very cozy and private, but still very spacious. The garden in the back was beautiful, and all the accommodations inside were wonderful as well. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the hosts couldn’t have been more gracious and kind.

Beautiful location tucked away beside Falkland palace. I cannot speak highly enough of Maspie House studio. It is exceptional - understated luxury, attentive yet not intrusive hosts who have anticipated your every need. A little piece of heaven in the Kingdom of Fife, nestling at the foot of the Lomond Hills. Scottish hospitality at its very best.

There is nothing not to like!

Lovely decor, gorgeous gardens, wonderful hosts, good breakfast, charming town relatively close to a lot of historical locations in London the area. We stayed two days but could stay much longer and use it as a base.

We had a great stay at the studio, we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area to stay here. Lovely room with a great view onto the old palace & a lovely breakfast!

This was our favourite B&B during our two week trip traveling around Scotland. The room is exactly as pictured and it was very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was superb. You have options like fresh fruit bowls, yogurt with honey, warm croissants, homemade granola and more. The Studio has access to a beautiful private garden with a view of Falkland Castle. You can also see the Castle through the Studio's expansive skylight windows. It was a perfect place to spend time while we enjoyed the beautiful, quaint town of Falkland. Highly recommend a stay here. It was perfection. For activities, there is a woodland walk with waterfalls (Maspie Den Trails), two Hills to climb (East and West Lomond Hill Trailheads) and Falkland Castle and Gardens. There are several lovely little cafes for lunch and a pub across the street for dinner. There are also several little stores to meander through.

Top notch hosts, exquisite studio tastefully decorated, amenities provides were the highest standard, breakfast freshly prepared and quite ample, delivered when you wished. Beautiful garden area to enjoy, excellent central Location to this charming town.

Nothing to dislike at all.
