"Relaxing and quiet stay."

Great choice for breakfast. Room a good size for longer stays, very quiet. Great location for walkers to trek the Lomonds and explore Fife. Pub opposite serves good pub grub. Best check restaurant opening times especially during winter months. John an excellent host.

"A luxury retreat in Falkland."

Perfect location for the sights and walks and pubs/restaurants in Falkland. Breakfast was fantastic and beautifully presented. Our Host, John, was very welcoming and friendly and gave us local information. Love the fact that there was crockery, cutlery, glasses and a small microwave. The garden is beautiful, a real haven. The little extras in the accommodation were a real treat. A home from home. Will definitely be returning.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Maspie House is right in the middle of Falkland, just steps away from the palace and all the shops and places to eat.

I loved it all. I always stay at one of John’s accommodations.

Great location, accommodation spotless and very comfortable. All the extras that make such a difference are provided and the breakfast is first class. The host is very helpful and keen to ensure we got the most from our break.

It seems cliche to give somewhere full marks for everything, but The Studio at Maspie House was just perfect for us in every way. Luxurious without being pretentious, everything we needed and wanted was catered for perfectly. From the hosting to the breakfast, the overall facilities, the little touches, the welcoming atmosphere and even the price. It was an incredible time away that we'll remember for a long time. Thank you.

Absolutely nothing we can think of, and to pick up on anything remotely minor would be an injustice to the experience and to John.
