Good. parking and. the location suited our needs. The en-suite was large.

We arrived at 1630, the room was cold and no heating was. on. We asked for heating in our room 4 times before it was switched on 5 hours later. We are not the first to comment on this. The room was not very clean, there was only 1 towel between the 2 of us and there were opened packets of biscuits on the floor. No breakfast option - very disappointing for this type of accommodation.

Don’t usually leave reviews but I’m writing this more out of frustration really. I just think you need to stay in the rooms and experience what your guests are getting as I think you’re selling yourselves short. The room and bathroom were gorgeous deco wise. However there was no heating in the room and I wasn’t a fan of the electric heater. The bathroom was totally freezing too. I had dinner which was lovely, went up to my room and had a sleep…. Then thought I’d have a bath in the stunning big tub …. No towels?!!! I had to dry myself with a shower mat last night and in the morning as there was no one at the property. The four poster bed was fab looking but was the creakiest thing ever… every time I moved it made such a racket! Had a shower in the morning … went to dry my hair … no hairdryer… just attachments!! These are all simple remedies but I’m just rather frustrated as you charged £130 for that room and I’d expect more than that. In summary … I’d use the phrase “style over substance”.

Quiet and in a lovely village

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the bed was the best thing I have ever slept on. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was fantastic. We r definitely going to stay here again.

The stairs, down fall of an old building, but this is just nit picking .
