Lovely setting and comfortable, friendly and welcoming

The cottage is neat and clean with a nice balcony.

We were on a business trip and only needed a place for 1 night. After checking in at 2pm we went out for dinner and upon returning around 12 midnight we realized all the plugs in the room do not work and that someone entered the unit while we were gone. We could not charge our phones for the next day, make coffee, heat up our food or even watch a bit of tv. Roughly 10min later the whole unit was without power (not due to load shedding as the lights around us were on) We informed the owner of the problems at the time but we had no response as he was probably sleeping comfortably in his own house. The next morning before leaving we found a note on the floor - in the plants "PLEASE DONT USE THE PLUGS". What a cowardice manner of communication knowing fully he could of called or messaged us informing us of the problems before we returned. We left full of disappointment and only later the owner responded with " we are sorry, we will get the electrician to have a look " We were NOT offered a refund or a complimentary stay. Think twice!
