Heaven Goa Guesthouse

Location looks a bit like a converted villa. Nice room with a high ceiling, making it feel very spacious. Room is modestly furnished, but looks pleasant. Decent beds that come with a mosquito netting, which is always welcome. Room is very clean, even the paint looks like it was done recently. Room comes with functioning A/C. Bathroom is simple, but clean and in good condition. Showers have adjustable temperature, so i could finally have a lukewarm shower! Facilities are good. There's a nice little gazebo with some tables by the center where you can have a drink. There's also a pool, which was clean. I really liked using it, as I'm not much of a beachgoer. Staff was pleasant. Owner is a nice and humble guy. Haven't tried the included breakfast as i got up late, so i can't speak on whether it was good or not. Location is very good, shops and restaurants are in walking distance, as is the beach. The area around the guesthouse is really quiet and serene, so outside of having a few dogs barking in the distance, it's nice and quiet at nights. Another nice bonus is that it's situated straight west of Margao, meaning that if you want to go north or south by car/bike from here, you can skip the horrendous congestion at Margao. Best of all - and the reason why it's a 10/10 - is that it's very good value for money. At 1.5k rs a night, it's really one of the cheaper locations in the area, and at least just as good. For what i got here, i expect to pay twice that amount. I find that people give very high or very low ratings too easily, and i don't give a 10 lightly. It's very well deserved!

I had to think for a minute about what i didn't like, but i managed to think of one thing, and that's the bad reception of wi-fi in the rooms. There's wi-fi though, and the reception is good at the gazebo.

Beautiful surroundings, playful kittens, pool, very accommodating and helpful owners. Location is a short walk to the beach and shops.

Very welcoming and peaceful. Great hosts and a good location. A few minutes walk to the beach as well as restaurants. The pool is a big plus, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Amazing getting here after getting tired from North Goa and Mumbai. The cute dogs and cats are also a plus! Spacious room with air conditioning and water/beverages available at the property.

Not a minus, but good to be aware that the breakfast and washing clothes costs extra. Not very expensive.

I could not have left more at home at Heaven Goa Guesthouse. Everyone was so warm and friendly and as a solo female traveller they really made me feel safe and welcome. Also Maxy's food was delicious!

It's nothing to do with anything within the property, as the animals at Heaven Goa are so sweet and protective of the property. But outside there are dogs that are quite aggressive so worth having your whits about you when walking back at night

Its a beautiful place with very warmly accomodative owners and staff. The homely cooked food for dinner was the brilliant of our stay. Thank you sir and mataji Definitely would stay again

Great location just 10 mins walk to the beach or the village. Lovely and rural with real authentic Goan feel. Hosts friendly and helpful with a couple of friendly dogs and cute kittens. Rooms are basic but clean with a firm mattress. Excellent value for money.

Only complaint is we only had hot water for a shower on one night as I guess everyone else used the water before us. But after a hot day on the beach a cold shower is not too bad.

The owner is a humble guy with helping nature.

Additionally, they should have a provision of meal and wifi.
