"Lovely self contained apartment with great facilities"

Very clean and well equipped communal kitchen area. Modern bedroom and bathroom very clean. Although we spoke no Italian and owner no Italian we had Google translate to help each other out.

Maybe a little far out although we don't mind walking, took about 30 mins to Ortigia.

Great place if you travel by car, because there is a private parking space, which is an advantage in Italy. The host was very nice and helpful, the room itself is large. There is a shared kitchen with a coffee machine or electric kettle. Location - about 20 minutes from the island of Ortigia. The area itself is pleasant, nearby bars where you can have breakfast.
