Really quirky clean and great staff

So unfortunate that the cooked breakfast was cancelled due to kitchen maintenance. I guess that can’t be helped I just wish we knew sooner.

"It provided what I needed for a brief overnight stay at a reasonable cost."

The breakfast was excellent. I had a twin-bed room on my own. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. The decor and fittings had obviously been done as cheaply as possible, using what was available and the back wall was painted 'wriggly tin!

There were a few minor problems, the wash basin plug did not fit and there were no teaspoons for example, but overall it provided what was required for my short one-night stay.

Very nice place, quirky yet comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals excellent

Lack of parking is an obvious disadvantage, but supermarket car park close by. An unfortunate strong drains smell while I was there, but understand that was temporary and being remedied.

"Quirky Pub with Rooms"

It is a very quirky place and we loved it, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, the breakfast comes out on some grease proof paper and if I’m honest I would stop that as after a while you start to cut in to it and then you have to separate it from your food, but that is purely constructive feedback as the food was a 10 out of 10, all staff were lovely and friendly too.

It's a comfy room overlooking a small, pretty pub courtyard - Bed v comfy.. The room's decor has arty-punk type elements and was a nice place to be. Hayley and John were really lovely hosts and went the extra mile...
