Great location right by the beach. Clean room and always hot water in the bathroom. I highly recommend this place. Very tasty food served by the host at Best One Family Restaurant.

Clean and spacious room in a lovely garden setting. So close to the beach you could hear the roll of the waves.Suranga was really helpful and welcoming . He prepared a tasty dinner for us before we joined an evening turtle watch.

The owner of the accommodation is a very kind guy with a huge sense of hospitality. There are only four rooms, and it’s really close to the amazing Rekawa Beach. From our balcony, we could see the ocean hidden behind palm trees. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was perfect, and we were offered the widest variety of foods during our entire stay in Sri Lanka.

As typical for Sri Lanka the bathroom was a little bit humid, but the room itself not!

I really liked the Green Turtle Hotel! The location is just perfect — less than a minute's walk to the beach, and you're right by the ocean. We stayed in a large room with a terrace, which was great for relaxing. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, so we slept really well. The hot water in the shower always had good pressure. I especially want to mention the food. The breakfasts and lunches prepared by Suranga were absolutely amazing. Every evening we had fresh fish and squid — everything was incredibly tasty. Suranga, the host of the hotel, is a very friendly and cheerful person. He’s always ready to help, and it’s a pleasure to talk to him. He creates such a warm atmosphere that you feel right at home. People usually come here to see the turtles, but we stayed for a whole week and didn’t regret it for a second. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. I highly recommend this hotel — it’s a great place for a vacation!

Green Turtle is the best hotel in Rekawa. If you want paradise beaches away from the bustle of the city, this is your place. The host is always helpfull and he answered all our requests with a big smile. He can help you to order a tuktuk with reasonable prices to go to other beaches or places in Tangalle. In the hotel area there are many restaurants and they have also finished the renovations in the hotel own restaurant. The room and the bed were very comfortable. The shower is in the middle of the bathroom but the floor dries very fast. Finally, breakfasts are amazing.

For saying something, some finishing in the facilities could improve. For example the WC was not completely fixed in the floor so it moves when you sit on it. Not any big problems anyway. Also, the bed didn't have mosquito net, however we don't have any mosquito bites.

location is the best value of the property, the beach is only few steps ahead and completely isolated, paradise!

the lights in the room were just terrible, half of them broken and the ones that worked were so low, we were not able to see anything. The breakfast was bad.
