Green turtle

Personnel is perfect, a lot of requests can be solved quickly. Is located close to the beach (the nearest hotel in this area). No required time for breakfast as in large hotels - you can come at 12, and everything will be ok.

It's not enough light in the room. Wi-Fi quality is not so good, it's necessary to have your own sim-card. Since Rekawa is a village, there are no shops or smth like this close to hotel. So rent a bike and you'll not have any problems with logistics.

Nice and quiet place for those who would like to breathe out and spend sime time in lonelyness. The beach is just in a 2-minutes walk, it is wide and long and you will be there alone most of the time. It is not possible to swim due to waves, though we enjoyed the energy of the place and long walks along the beach. There is a turtle place nearby, so in the very first evening we were lucky to see the new-born turtles going to the ocean. Very nice and welcome host Suranga who was really hospitable.

The water was not warm, though in this weather it does not matter. After the rain the stairs were quite slippery

The beach next to the accommodation is amazing, we were there during November and there were almost no people there. Although you can't swim due to big waves but we didn't mind as it was really beautiful to watch the ocean and enjoy the sunset. Property is ok, good value for money and we had a good stay overall. Staff is very nice and tries their best to accommodate you.

The area is a bit remote so lacked good selection of restaurants nearby but that could be also due to low season when we visited

Everything! It’s quite secluded which makes perfect for the peace and quiet. It’s not a big hotel either which is more appealing. The staff are delightful, they were so welcoming upon my arrival and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for me - turtle watching, driver to Tissa, making sure I was happy with everything. The breakfast was wonderful and freshly prepared. Rekawa is quite remote but ideal if you’re looking for a slow pace. The turtle watching is literally next door and the beach is a 2 minute walk if that.

This is the best accomodation in Srí Lanka. The host is super friendly, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Best value for this price. Near from the beautiful beach. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful hotel located on a natural and quiet beach. Great breakfast. The owners are extremly Kind and helpful, even fixed my boyfriends shoe!! Highly recommend it!
