There was nothing not to like

Beautiful rooms throughout with very generous own balcony including sun lounges. Lovely big shared kitchen was very well equipped, swimming pool and outdoor area was both private and generous. Great location on edge of old city town, with stunning beaches and headlands close by. Many fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Matthew and Clementa are wonderful hosts!!

The natural warmth of our hosts; the cleanliness and style of property throughout; the range and quality of the breakfasts; comprehensive, modern facilities in the kitchen area include the always available free tea and coffee and snacks and other drinks at very reasonable prices; help and support from our hosts while on the island; clean and attractive pool and garden area. Large and well appointed room and en-suite.

We couldn't fault anything

Prettige ontvangst door super vriendelijke, zeer behulpzame hosts. Mooie kamer met fijn terras, zeer schoon. Heerlijk bad (apart) en fijne badkamer. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Mooi ingericht, mooie tuin met zwembad.

De ligging. Het uitzicht viel ons wat tegen. Er zijn nauwelijks stoepen en de straten richting centrum en/of restaurants (ca. 20 minuten lopen) waren best druk. Wij zaten op de 1e etage boven het ontbijtgedeelte. Waarschijnlijk door het gebruik van harde materialen in de inrichting klonken de geluiden van beneden nogal door.

The beauty of the place is matched by the friendliness and kindness of its owners! The Carob Tree is a modern, yet traditionally-built, facility, located within walking distance (10/15 minutes) from Victoria. The - themed - rooms are comfortable, well-organized and perfectly clean. Breakfast includes savory and sweet options, and it is served in the lovely living room, overlooking the garden and pool. Matthew and Clementa were extraordinary hosts, always ready to offer their help and accommodate our needs. Absolutely recommended :)

Just awesome! If you want to stay a night in Gozo, which I recommend STAY HERE. We were warmly welcomed. The room was really nice and super clean. The kitchen area is amazing, you find everything you can ask for. There is coffee for free all day. At the time we stayed, we were the only guests and the owners prepared a big breakfast just for us. The next day we had to leave before breakfast time, so we told them that we wouldn’t be able to be there. It took us completely by surprise, they prepared the breakfast early and gave us take away boxes! They are so lovely people!

Wat een mooi en fijn verblijf. Erg smaakvol ingericht, heel schoon en een perfecte afwerking. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Heerlijk rustig gelegen .

Niets, maar hou er rekening mee dat het iets buiten het centrum ligt. Met 15 tot 20 minuten wandelen ben je in het centrum.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Carob Tree! The accommodation was beautiful! Although it felt like a boutique hotel,the hosts Clementa and Matthew were so friendly and helpful,we just felt so at home. They really couldn't do enough for us and every detail was carefully thought out without fuss or formality. Stunning breakfast each morning,a beautiful balcony and pool and even a little jacuzzi in our room which made it extra special. 10/10 for cleanliness. It was spotless.....just a beautiful place to stay and an easy walk to Victoria.

Een heerlijk ontbijt. Alles prachtig schoon. Een mooie tuin waar ook een zwembad is. Wij hadden een heerlijke ruime kamer en een heerlijk verblijf.
