Glacis Heights Villa

Die Lage etwas außerhalb von Beau Vallon ist super. Man kann direkt beim Vermieter einen Transfer bzw. Auto mieten. Das gesamte personal versucht den Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten.

Todo en general pero descartaría el desayuno muy completo y que cada uno puede elegir la noche anterior, pero lo más destacable es el personal siempre atentos desde el chico del desayuno al chef pero especialmente Eunice quien cuida de nosotros como uno más siempre está allí para aconsejarte, contestar a todas tus prehuntas. Es todo muy facil. También el hecho de poder alquilar coche en el mismo hotel es realmente un punto positivo. Andando hay un restaurante a unos 6mn andando pero aconsejo alquilar coche y bajar a Beau Vallon para la cena. Buenas vistas, instalaciones de 10, habitaciones completas y tranquilas con terraza con vistas al mar.

Honestamente no puedo encontrar fallo...quizás el ruido del aire acondicionado pero en ningún momento te puede quitar el sueño

Tout était parfait. L'accueil, la chambre et son confort. On a eu l'impression d'être dans un hôtel et non une chambre d'hôte. Le petit déjeuner est superbe (choix, qualité, service...)

Les fruits au petit déjeuner ne sont pas des fruits locaux.

The accommodation was very nice. It looks just like in the photos. The rooms were beautiful and air-conditioned. The owners are helpful and accommodating. In the evening, the owner sat with us and recommended trips. Breakfast was ordered in advance – in the evening, we each chose what we wanted from the breakfast menu on a piece of paper. We were always satisfied. Right below the accommodation, there is a beautiful small beach. Additionally, getting around the island by car is effortless. There is a small grocery store under the accommodation. There is a small pool outside with a nice view of the ocean. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely return. We recommend it! :)

Le professionnalisme du personnel très gentil et toujours prêt à rendre service ! La chambre était toujours très propre, le petit déjeuner agréablement servi avec un petit système de personnalisation du menu pour avoir un service sur mesure. Et enfin la vue magnifique sur l'océan.

Peu de chose que l'on apprecie pas... S'il fallait trouver quelque chose, ce serait juste l'accès qui se fait par une pente très raide difficile à passer même en voiture. Hormis ça, absolument rien à dire !

There was a very kind and lovely guy that helped us with the luggage, gave us infos about the surroundings and cooked breakfast for us. He was always smiling and supporting for us. we will not forget his cordiality. The panorama is nice and the position also good. Breakfast very good made fresh from the fantastic guy.

The place was nice, but unfortunately it was very difficult, almost impossibile to relax because there were multiple big nests of big bats near the stay, they flew and shouted all the time around the pool area, and we had them in front of our room too for the whole stay (they were hanging in front of a big tree just in front of our balcony). They shouted all day and night in a creepy way, making our time in the hotel very uncomfortable. Also, the room was smaller than expected, with no A/C (it was broken) and no telephone (even tough it was promised)!. The terrace was full of bats so difficult to enjoy and The shower was dirty, and there were no courtains so people from outside could watch us. The entrance door had 2 locks that was difficult to open so it felt unsafe for us because in case of fire we would have been locked inside literally.. Unfortunately, due to these problems, we had to leave the stay before our planned date, leaving the room empty for the last night even tough we paid for it. Also, very misguiding photos! They do not represent the reality. Our room was called "deluxe superior", there was nothig deluxe and nothing superior unfortunately....

Wir hatten ein schönen Aufenthalt in Glacis Heights Villa. Gebucht haben wir die Wohnung mit Gartenblick. Sie ist sauber, der Kühlschrank war für einen Start sogar schon mit Marmelade, Butter, Eier, Milch und Toastbrot gefüllt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wünsche, werden insofern möglich umgesetzt. Der Garten ist schön angelegt. Der Blick aufs Meer toll. Eunice kümmert sich toll um Ihre Gäste.

Wie bereits in anderen Rezensionen geschrieben ist die Zufahrt mit der Steigung eine Herausforderung. Ob zu Fuß oder mit Auto. 1. Gang, konstante 20 km/h funktioniert aber einwandfrei. Leider hatten wir keine Möglichkeit bei schlechtem Wetter draußen zu sitzen. Es gibt zwar eine Holzbank und ein Tisch. Dieser ist jedoch auf einem Ameisenhaufen platziert. Der restliche Garten ist mit Pflanzenkübeln zu gestellt und die gesamte Fläche nicht überdacht. Der Ausblick zum Meer beinhaltet auch das Nachbargrundstück, welches vollständig mit Müll zugestellt ist. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber teilweise auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wohnung selbst ist ca. 30 Quadratmeter groß. Die Lautsprecher des Fernsehers sind defekt und klingen kratzig, das Sofa ist eigentlich ein Gartensofa und nicht wirklich gemütlich.
