Room was small but clean

Upon arrival at 3pm were given a key and shown the door to stairs, only asked how much we were paying. At 9pm a band started up directly beneath our room. It was very loud, drowning out our little TV regardless of its' volume. It went on until 11:40pm, when after a short break the juke-box started up. This went on until 18 minutes after midnight when I went down to complain at the bar, where they were still serving drinks. Eventually the juke-box was switched off. Had been impossible to sleep. There had been no information when we were booking or when we checked in that they were having an 'Open Mic' night. Was told by bar staff (in middle of the night) if had booked directly with the pub they would have warned us about the 'Open Mic' each Saturday. Effectively ruined the Sunday as we were so tired. The shouldn't be renting rooms above the bar where loud music is playing into the morning. Customers should be warned on Booking.com.

Television could be a little bigger and was a little cold

The pub is old fashioned but has a lovely atmosphere. The staff could not have been friendlier and more welcoming. The twin room was clean and comfortable, with thick curtains that kept the light out. Despite being by the road, and above a pub, it was very quiet and we were not disturbed at all. It was an easy 10 minute walk into Wilmslow.

Attitude of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, close proximity to the airport, value for price paid.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was great.
