Penmarric House - Self Check-in

Had a great stay at Penmarric House. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the shared bathroom was large, modern, and very well maintained. Breakfast was adequate and the location is excellent, just a short distance from the town centre. Great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

My electric blanket didn’t work (it seemed the plugs weren’t working)

I like the easy self check in. The breakfast is self serve with a good selection of cereals plus milk. There is bread to toast with spread and selection of jams. I add a bit of my own yoghurt and fruit. Kitchen has plenty of utensils and plates and cups and you can cook your own breakfast if you bring your own supplies.

I only stayed the night but having breakfast available the next morning was quite cool. The mansion itself was quite cool to stay in as it gave a nice, haunted house feel (not in a negative way though).

Clean, tidy. All facilities in convenient places, responsiveness from owner. Great choices for breakfast cereals Great for a Cambridge getaway 👌

Maybe Towels could have been a bit softer and heater a bit confusing

great location and the self check in was easy thanks to good communications with the owner.Arriving late, this suited me perfectly. The heater was on in the room which was a very nice touch

Great location, breakfast was adequate but nothing startling. My room was comfortably furnished with a good bed.

It was quite impersonal, I didn't see my host at all though did have some chat with other guests. It is a lovely old home sadly downgraded to a hostel.
