Wonderful accomodation with super hosts

The guesthouse is localed a shot walk away from the JR station and a stone throw away from the temple. The owners are a lovely couple and they will make you feel at home. They also gave me great suggestions for sightseeing and dinner. The room is traditional and large. Bathing facilities are new and spotless. Breakfast was prepared with care.

Minpaku Hiraizumi is a really special place - I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel like you are part of the family - and at the same time, the owners are very respectful and sensitive to your needs, so that you feel cared for but not overwhelmed. The house is lovely and spotlessly clean; the room is beautiful; and breakfast is delicious with local produce cooked to perfection. And such a lovely couple! I should also say that Hiraizumi is probably the most peaceful place I visited in my 6 week trip through Japan - I recommend it 100%.

The hospitality is exceptional, the breakfast is fantastic, a very restful weekend.

Very warm welcome (even a custom welcome sign outside of the house). large room with seperate bedroom, very comfortable beds. Close to very beautiful sightseeing spots! the Hosts are the definition of hospitality and excellent cooks. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Very wholesome people, cool house. Not far from the train station. I appreciated the breakfast. 100% recommend, would do again :)

The hosts are simply the loveliest couple ever! It really feels authentic and I would highly recommend staying here. The breakfast was lovely!

Just remember to bring cash, otherwise, everything was perfect :)
