Hills Farm B&B Laugharne

I had a small but very nice room, in this farmhouse with very friendly and helpful owner who lets you sit in the lounge and use the terrace. Very clean and comfortable room, with separate bathroom next door. Good wifi, and good breakfast included.

The map on booking.com has this in the wrong place. It is some 600-700m down the (unlit) small lane, so some 10-minute walk from the shops and pubs of Laugharne.

Location just outside the town was perfect. Breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. Lovely homemade jam and marmalade. You can help yourself to hot drinks in the kitchen and make use of the drawing room which is a beautiful space overlooking the garden. There is also a patio to use when weather allows. The setting is beautiful countryside with lots of wildlife to enjoy. You could walk into town to enjoy dinner when weather allows.

Rooms are not en-suite although bathrooms are right outside the room. Some people may not like this. It’s hard not to hear other guests in room below whilst having breakfast or walking up and down the stairs as the property is traditional with wooden doors and stairs. However Jackey was such a warm hospitable host we didn’t mind that.

Very obliging host, gorgeous breakfast, lovely rural location, cosy room with great views.

just a little further from the village than I expected.

It was quiet, friendly, within walking distance to the village.

Tv didnt work well but we had use of a lounge if we wanted.

Perfect, peaceful location, and only a 15 minute stroll to the village. We only stopped for one night, but a good home cooked breakfast set us up nicely for the day before leaving.

A comfortable and quiet room in a beautiful location with great hospitality shown by the hostess. Laugharne was also full of kind and friendly people. A good and reliable bus service helped in the exploration of this interesting area.
