Sound of the River

Lovely warm welcome from Sharon. All facilities were superb and the bed was very comfortable.There was a super bathroom with shower and also a well equipped kitchenette stocked up with everything we could possibly need for a great breakfast. The studio flat was spotlessly clean throughout, tastefully decorated and looked out on to a patio garden. Quiet and private and just what we needed for a break en route to our holiday in Anglesey. Many thanks for your warm hospitality so greatly appreciated.

Nothing to dislike.

The apartment had everything we needed. David was very pleasant and left us a bar of choc everyday, he left hot cross buns on easter Sunday and also gave us some of his lovely homemade sausage rolls. Would definitely recommend, there was a lovely pub with friendly staff and excellent food, Bridge Inn and The New Gurkha Restaurant and they were both a couple of minutes walk away. Didn't want to go back home.

I can't say there was anything we didn't like.

Location was perfect for Black Mountains walk. Accommodation was brilliant and all the little touches were a bonus. Couldn't fault it.

A very well equipped room with hotel style luxuries (bath robe/clean towels). Well stocked fridge for breakfast and microwave. Whole room was very clean and tidy.

Lovely little 'studio apartment' in the middle of the brecon beacons, consisting of bedroom/sitting room, small, modern kitchenette and good sized shower room. The kitchen was stocked with tea/coffee and everything needed for a continental style breakfast (plus mince pies - it was just after xmas when we visited). It was clean and comfortable, and the owner came in and tidied while we were out, leaving clean towels. In the evening there was enough light to read by, and the TV had Sky on it.

There was nothing I'd want improving - the weather maybe? ;)

A perfect location for exploring Talgarth and Hay on Wye. The hosts thought of everything, from the great selection of breakfast foods to the robes. The accommodation was spotless and the bed was extra comfy. The host made great communication and was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. We will be back!
