"Horrible/evil- they should not be involved in tourism"

I came here to climb Mount Iwate and my plan was to leave at 5 in the morning. I told them I’d be gone before they woke up but I would pack my bag and asked where I could store it. I suggested leaving my bag beside the fridge. I figured I’d return by 15:00 and after much discussion they would only let me leave my bag if I would pay for a full extra night. An extra night to put my bag in a corner for 5 hours after checkout time. I was in shock and after 15 minutes of trying for a reasonable charge I gave up in disgust. Thanks to the worst people I have met in 45 days in Japan I wasted a full day of my vacation and couldn’t climb the mountain. Also they have a 17:00 checkin- they should not be involved in tourism.
