Set in the Norfolk countryside, the location was genuinely stunning—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for switching off. Mid-April walks straight from the property were a great, especially for wildlife; the hedgerows were full of varied birdlife, with hares and deer often just steps from the cottage. Pearl was a welcoming host, serving a great breakfast and making us feel completely at home. Ruby, her dog, is friendly, affectionate, and generous with hugs.

Some prefer a firmer bed, while others like something softer to sink into—we personally lean toward the softer side, but it really comes down to preference.

Breakfast was delicious, eggs were done to perfection. There was also fresh fruit on offer. In the evening you can use the microwave, and keep your food in the fridge overnight.

Pearl was lovely. The settings were amazing, breakfast was delicious. Cannot fault it.

Delightful hosts, friendly and charming. Wonderful breakfasts. Character cottage.
