"Delightful, rural retreat where I would love to spend days on end."

10.0

This property is located in a peaceful area of outstanding natural beauty beauty. It is clean, quiet and has all one requires for a comfortable stay. Well positioned in a rural area yesterday close to nearby towns . Richard, the host, is both charming and knowledgeable, providing a hearty breakfast too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"A lovely stay and we will be returning!"

10.0

There is nothing not to like about Richard's place. It is in a beautiful location with wonderful views. It is peaceful and quiet. Richard is a very kind and hospitable host. He suggested two walks to us (we were doing some practise for walking in Canada) and both were excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a great living area and kitchen area so you can make cuts of coffee/tea with ease and also sit down and relax. There is even an outdoor area to sit and even a glass or two of wine in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. I only felt bad I could not finish it all because I am being healthy at the moment. The bacon was particularly good. A lovely cafetiere for coffee to give us a good start to our day. Richard is a gentleman and we cannot wait to go back. We all agreed we only wish we had longer, it was a fleeting visit! Thanks for everything Richard.

Richard was a very friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. The 'full welsh' veggie breakfast we had was absolutely delicious 😋. Beautiful views too !!

"Our stay at Brynderwen Farm Bed and Breakfast was ideal."

10.0

This laid-back B&B is located in a spectacular setting in the countryside outside Talyllyn. Our accommodations were altogether comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Our host, Richard, a fascinating and adventurous fellow reminiscent of a character out of a Rudyard Kipling story, went out of his way to attend to our needs. He cooked us a fine English breakfast every morning, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests at the large communal table. When we asked for guidance regarding a walk, Richard suggested trekking up a nearby hill in the Brecon Beacons. After climbing to the summit to get the 360-degree view of the surrounding peaks and valleys, we came away with a feeling of having achieved something special. Later we again took Richard’s suggestion and dined at a superb Indian restaurant in the town of Brecon, about ten minutes away. He and his wife Surinder are most gracious hosts with a gorgeous property, and should we be in the area in the future, we would happily return to this lovely place without hesitation.

Nothing to complain about. Everything was wonderful.
